“My son truly enjoyed the DUCA program. Not only did he make good friends there, but he also learned a great deal about computer science, college life and the importance of cooperative education during college. As a parent, I was very impressed with the organization of the five week program, the faculty, RAs and the curriculum. The final presentations amazed me on how much the students learned. Their projects were truly impressive and a great accomplishment to add on to college applications. I have been raving about the program to my friends and family and would definitely recommend it.”
““My son had a fantastic time this summer in the DUCA program. He enjoyed the interaction with other high schoolers from all over the country, found the teachers all top notch, and the residence assistants very attentive and responsive to each students individual needs. My son found that not only did he learn programming and hardware but, more importantly, he enjoyed working in a team to accomplish his final project. He is impressed with program and is considering volunteering next summer to help out. From a parents perspective, I was always kept informed via e-mail and web photos on what was going on and give kudos to the staff for its excellent communication and coordination.”

The program provides enough structure for the kids while at the same time giving them some freedom to be independent.
